Monday - Marineland

Tuesday - hockey training on Olympic pitch, shopping down Las Ramblas and games against Club Illuro. Followed by a BBQ at the hockey club.

Boys hockey did brilliantly against a very good side and were drawing 1-1 at half time, Illuro were clearly far stronger than our boys but heart and determination kept us in the game, in the second half they came on strong and beat us 6-1. Players of the match went to George Hackett, Oliver Clarke and Angus Martin. Ty Johnson with the goal. A very good performance considering only one boy had ever played before.

Girls hockey really struggled against an equally as strong Illuro side, but they never gave up, eventually we lost 11-0. Players of the match went to Ellie Cavill, Imogen Hopps and Poppy Allen.

Wednesday - Nou Camp tour, basketball, training and games followed by a meal at a tapas bar in Barcelona.

Basketball second team, mixed boys and girls lost 68-8 but had very little previous experience and improved massively throughout, they conceded 46 in the first half and 22 in the second. Players of the match went to Oliver Clarke, Ryan Hagger and Ty Johnson.

Basketball's first team won 53-45, it was an incredible game with an amazing atmosphere, see attached video of Adam scoring a three pointer. The home crowd had drums, horns and trumpets and it was so loud. The boys played so well and loved the experience against a very talented team from Cornella. Players of the match went to Adam Lukosevicious who showed just how special he is with 34 points, they tried to keep him, Callum Wright and Ollie Veal
