The Year 7 choir presented its own version of Slade’s annual hit, Merry Christmas Everybody, while members of the Senior Band, soloists and ensembles belted out festive favourites with some pop and rock hits.

A rousing rendition of In the Air tonight, originally performed by Phil Collins, included a gorilla backdrop to remind everyone about the Cadbury’s Dairy Milk advert of 2007 which went completely viral. 

Billed as an evening of ‘Festive Bangers’ the music department at Marshland pulled out all the stops to ensure the popular concert was appreciated by an audience of family, friends and guests.

The concert came after several days of festive events, including a special Christmas lunch and Christmas Jump
